Seating Types

In the atmosphere of a Kyoto-style machiya, make yourself at home in the calm design drawn from traditional Japanese folkhouses. Our dining spaces include private rooms for parties of 4 to 10, ideal for enjoying a meal together in a private space; upholstered box seats for relaxing; and a chef's counter, perfect for making and tasting a variety of selections. You'll find suitable space for special occasions of all kinds.

We have fully private rooms available for 4 to 8 people. Private rooms can also be reserved by 2 people for special occasions. The waist-high window between rooms can be lifted to connect dinner parties of up to 10 people. Relax and enjoy dinner in seclusion.

FAQ

Reservations & Visits

Are reservations required?
Please reserve, as reservations are always given priority. When possible, we recommend making reservations early, especially if you would like a course attended by one of our chefs or a private room. Depending on the availability on the day, we may be able to accommodate you, so do feel free to contact us by phone.
Do I need to register my credit card when making a reservation?
Credit cards are required for online reservations. A temporary reservation of 200 yen will be set on the card before you arrive at the store, but this will not go through as a charge and will be automatically cancelled after your arrival.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Cancelling or changing the number of people within 72 hours (3 days) of your planned arrival time incurs a fee of 50%. Cancellations within 48 hours (2 days) incur a 100% cancellation fee. Please contact us as soon as possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, credit cards (VISA, Master, JCB, AMEX, Diners), electronic (transport IC, Rakuten Edy, Nanaco, WAON, iD, QUICPay), and QR code payments (PayPay, dHarai, Rakuten Pay, auPAY). We can also issue invoice compliant receipts (registration number: T4110001026335).

About the Cuisine and Courses

May I try my hand at the grill?
Absolutely. Even for courses by one of our chefs, you can enjoy grilling it yourself if you wish. Our staff will provide you with detailed instructions, so please feel free to ask us.
Is raw meat (such as the yukhoe dish and beef sashimi) safe to consume?
Our restaurant strictly adheres to the certification standards based on Nagano Prefecture's guidelines and has a sanitary system in place to prepare and serve raw meat. We have a dedicated butcher's kitchen and, under the supervision of certified handlers, we take every precaution to serve raw meat that meets strict standards for both equipment and hygiene management.
Do you cater for allergies and dietary restrictions?
When you make your reservation let us know your restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you. However, please note that, depending on the nature and severity of your allergy, it may be difficult to fully accommodate, especially in regards to risks of secondary contamination.
Do you use local ingredients (from Nagano Prefecture)?
Yes. Our dishes are made primarily with ingredients from Nagano Prefecture, including vegetables, rice, and more in addition to meat. While our menu changes seasonally, we always prioritize local flavor.
Can I have Kobe or another specific brand of beef?
We always have Kobe sirloin available, and we order other domestic brands according to what is in season.

Seating and restaurant environment

Do you have private rooms?
We have four private rooms available, which can accommodate from four (4) to a maximum of ten (10) people. We will assign the space according to the number in your party, so please let us know when making your reservation.
Is the facility wheelchair accessible?
There are steps at the entrance and just inside the store; however, staff are happy to help assist movement over this location. Please let us know at the time of making the reservation if you would like this assistance.
May I smoke?
Smoking is prohibited throughout the restaurant. However, we do have a dedicated smoking room that can be used when you wish to smoke.

About other services

Can my child(ren) come with me?
Yes. We have no age restriction, so even young children and infants (and their strollers) are welcome. Additionally, we offer a children's course (3,300 yen) for children under 6 years old. Please note that we do not have child seats, but sofa seating is available.
Can wine or saké be paired?
Absolutely. Our wine and saké are selected by a sommelier, and we can suggest pairings for any of our courses. Please feel free to ask our staff for advice
Is it possible to bring my own beverages?
Only unopened wine, champagne and Japanese saké in bottles are permitted. The corkage fee for up to 480 mL bottles is 5,000 yen and for up to 1.8L bottles is 10,000 yen. (10% service charge and consumption tax not included in all cases.) Distilled spirits (whiskey, shochu, etc.) are not permitted.
Is English support available?
Yes! We have English menus as well as staff who can communicate in English. Overseas guests are most welcome!
